|Runnells Park & Recreation Board
|The Runnells Park and Recreation Board is seeking an interested person to fill one vacant
seat on the Park Board (city residency not required).
The Park Board consists of five members, with a minimum of three residents from the City of Runnells
and a liaison from the City Council. This Board sets rules, recommends improvements and generally
oversees all aspects of our beautiful City Park.
We meet once a month with meetings lasting about one hour. If you have an interest in contributing a
small amount of your time to the improvement and maintenance of the Runnells Area Park, please
contact Runnells City Hall at 966-2042 or anyone listed below.

No person shall operate
a golf cart on any public
street or alley, for any
purpose, unless the
operator possesses a
City of Runnells permit.
Golf carts may be
operated upon the City
streets by persons
possessing a valid Iowa
operator's license and
at least 17 years of age,
except as prohibited in

|In case of an extended power outage, the Runnells fire station is set up with
emergency power and heat. Please stop by if you need a warm place to
hang out. Local radio stations will announce when it is in operation, and
contact information if a ride is needed.
|In case of emergency
|Runnells residents will be receiving a survey in the mail soon. It is used to determine the number of
low and moderate income households in the city. With that information,the city and eligible
residents are able to receive grants, and/or loans to improve their properties, and helps the city to
improve the infrastructure in those areas. All information is confidential. If you did not receive a
survey, or misplaced it, here is a link to download and complete the survey. Everyone, please
complete and return the survey!
